Arizona (AZ) Lottery Results and Winning Numbers (2024)

Arizona Lottery Games

Founded in November 1980, the first Arizona Lottery draw took place in October 1984.

Proceeds from lottery games in Arizona are used to help fund multiple initiatives and state programs, including arts and education, community enrichment, economic development, environmental conservation, health and human services, and public safety.

Powerball

Powerball is a world-famous lottery renowned for its long odds and often lucrative jackpots.

Powerball tickets cost $2.00, with players choosing five numbers between 1 and 69 plus a Powerball number between 1 and 26. Players can choose their numbers manually or go for a Quick Pick. A Power Play option is also available, costing $1.00 for the chance to multiply non-jackpot prizes by up to 10 times.

Mega Millions

Mega Millions is another world-renowned lottery that’s even harder to win than Powerball, but has a very similar format.

As with Powerball, tickets cost $2.00.

Players must choose five numbers between 1 and 70 and a Mega Ball number between 1 and 25, with a Quick Pick option also being available for those wishing to play with random selections. Mega Millions has an additional Megaplier option for $1.00 for the chance to multiply non-jackpot prizes by up to 10 times.

The Pick

The Pick is Arizona’s longest-running lottery game.

Entry costs just $1.00 for six numbers between 1 and 44, with Quick Pick also available for those wishing to enter with random selections. Participants can also play the EXTRA! game for $1.00 or $2.00, for the chance to win instant cash prizes of up to $500.

Triple Twist

Triple Twist is a straightforward lottery game that costs $2.00 to enter.

Players must choose six numbers between 1 and 42, or can go for a Quick Pick for random selections. Tickets are also printed with two further sets of six numbers chosen at random, giving players three entries for the $2.00 ticket cost.

The jackpot is won by matching all six numbers on the same line, with secondary prizes also available by matching at least five numbers across all three lines.

Fantasy 5

Fantasy 5 is a straightforward lottery game that costs just $1.00 to enter.

Players choose five numbers between 1 and 41, or can go for a Quick Pick for numbers chosen at random. Approximately one in 10 tickets are designated as a DOUBLER at no additional cost, to double all non-jackpot prizes for the lucky players.

Participants can also add the EXTRA! game to their ticket, to wager either $1.00 or $2.00 for the chance to win instant cash prizes of up to $500.

Pick 3

Pick 3 has multiple entry options, with tickets costing $1.00.

Players must choose three numbers from 0 to 9, and because each number is chosen independently, the same number can be chosen repeatedly if desired. Participants then choose whether to bet on matching numbers in the order drawn, in any order, or to split a $1.00 stake equally between both options.

Players can also bet on matching either the first or second pair of numbers drawn if they wish.
