Hi ihr Lieben,
Schweren Herzens verlasst ich (Janka) mein schönes WG-Zimmer, da ich in eine eigene Wohnung ziehe.
Somit wird das Zimmer ca. ab dem 1. Juli beziehbar sein, aber Genaueres kann noch besprochen werden.
HARD FACTS: Es handelt sich um ein lichtdurchflutetes und geräumiges Zimmer
von ca. 17 Quadratmetern. Die WG befindet sich im 3. Stock eines sanierten
Altbaugebäudes und ist mit Blick auf eine Verkehrs-ruhige Straße gerichtet.
Das Zimmer wird mit einem Hochbett (siehe auf dem Foto) weitergegeben.
Hierfür gibt es eine kleine Ablöse in Höhe von 180 EUR, Spiegel und einen kleinen Schrank und weitere 50 EUR für unsere neue Waschmaschine.
Die Gesamtmiete beträgt 381,50 EUR im Monat. Darin ist alles enthalten: Strom, Gas und Internet!
Optimal für Student*innen, oder Personen, die längerfristig nach einer Bleibe in einer liebevollen Umgebung suchen.

Unfortunately, I (Janka) will leave my beloved room in this nice WG, because I move in a new flat.
HARD FACTS: It is a light-flooded and spacious room of approx.
17 square metres. The flat-share is located on the 3rd floor and it is a renovated old building.
The room is on the third floor and faces a quiet street.
The room is rented fully furnished and further details can be negotiated.
There is basically a 140x200cm double high bed, a cupboard
a wardrobe, a desk and a shelf.
The total rent is 381,50€ per month (everything included) electricity, gas and internet
It is ideal for Erasmus students or people who are looking for a temporary place to stay in a loving environment.

Die WG liegt in Ottakring, an der Grenze zu Hernals und die Umgebung
bietet einem alles, was das Herz begehrt. Vor der Haustüre befinden sich
Supermärkte wie Penny, Billa und einige Gehminuten sind auch Hofer und Lidl
entfernt.
Die Straßenbahnlinie 2 (Römergasse) ist ca. 4 Gehminuten entfernt, man ist aber
sowohl an der Straßenbahnlinie 43 als auch 44 gut angebunden und unweit (9
Minuten) von der S-Bahnstation S45Hernals entfernt. Darüber hinaus erreicht man in
ca. 5 Minuten die Buslinie 10A (Albrechtskreithgasse). Wenn man ein bisschen vom
Getöse der Großstadt entkommen möchte, ist das Erholungsgebiet um den
Wilhelminenberg ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Grundsätzlich ist man schnell am
Gürtel (U6), aber auch im ersten Bezirk (Schottentor). Besonders angenehm sind die
Hauptuni und die Boku zu erreichen.
Zugegeben, es gibt coolere Orte im Westen. Zum Kaffetrinken oder Fortgehen fahren
wir meistens ein paar Minuten Rad oder Bahn (zum Yppenplatz, in den 15ten oder
7ten). Wir haben unseren Grätzl trotzdem lieb und wissen seine kleinen Eigenheiten
zu schätzen: Je nach Windrichtung riecht es hier abwechselnd nach Schokolade
(Mannerfabrik), Hopfen (Ottakringer Brauerei) oder Kaffee (Meinl Rösterei). Auf der
Speisekarte des Gasthauses unter uns gibt es jeden Tag Spanferkel als
Tagesgericht. Und das Beste: TooGoodToGo-Sackerl sind hier nicht so schnell
ausverkauft.

The shared apartment is located in Ottakring, near the border with Hernals, and the surroundings offer everything one could desire. Right outside the door, there are supermarkets like Penny and Billa, and just a few minutes' walk away, you'll also find Hofer and Lidl. The tram line 2 (Römergasse) is about a 4-minute walk away, but you are also well-connected to tram lines 43 and 44 and not far (9 minutes) from the S-Bahn station S45 Hernals. Additionally, you can reach bus line 10A (Albrechtskreithgasse) in about 5 minutes. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city a bit, the recreational area around Wilhelminenberg is about a 15-minute walk away. Basically, you can quickly get to the Gürtel (U6), but also to the first district (Schottentor). The main university and Boku are especially easy to reach.
Admittedly, there are cooler places in the west. For coffee or going out, we usually bike or take the train for a few minutes (to Yppenplatz, the 15th or 7th districts). Nevertheless, we love our neighborhood and appreciate its little quirks: Depending on the wind direction, it alternately smells of chocolate (Manner factory), hops (Ottakringer brewery), or coffee (Meinl roastery). The menu at the inn below us features suckling pig as the daily special every day. And the best part: TooGoodToGo bags don't sell out as quickly here.

Meine Mitbewohner sind Gabriel (25), Przemek (22) und Adem (22)
Unsere Küche ist mit allerlei ausgestattet, weil besonders Gabriel gerne und viel
kocht, daher sind alle Utensilien vorhanden. Wir haben derzeit einen rotierenden
Putzplan, damit jede*r einmal drankommt!
Gabriel (25): Ich liebe Kulturen und Sprachen. Ich bin in Brasilien aufgewachsen und bin mit 15 Jahren alleine nach Frankreich gezogen, und jetzt lebe ich in Wien. Ich spreche fließend Portugiesisch, Französisch, Spanisch, Englisch, Japanisch, Deutsch und ein bisschen Russisch und Chinesisch. Ebenso studiere ich East Asian Economy and Society an der Universität Wien. Ich koche sehr gerne und schaue Filme! Ich bin ein bisschen extrovertiert, aber ich genieße auch Zeit zum Entspannen und Meditieren.
Przemek (22): Kommt aus Polen und spricht polnisch und englisch. - Er ist außerdem dabei deutsch zu lernen. Zurzeit arbeitet er, aber sobald er im Deutschen das Niveau C1 erreicht hat möchte er entweder Mathematik oder Medizin studieren. (Auch Sprachen). Liebend gern spielt er Videospiele und mag gerne Mangas und Anime und hört K-Pop. Die meiste Freizeit verbringt er gerne zuhause und ist ein bisschen schüchtern, genießt aber gute Gesellschaft und hat gute Witze parat.
Adem (22): Ich komme aus Salzburg und habe bosnische Wurzeln. Derzeit befinde ich mich im 4. Semester meines Physikstudiums und arbeite nebenbei im Büro. Manchmal kann man mich abends durch die Wände E-Gitarre oder Klavier spielen hören, wenn ich sonst nicht etwas für die Uni machen muss, mit meinen Freunden zocke oder lese. Ich liebe es Hip-Hop und R&B zu hören, deshalb sieht man mich auch die meiste Zeit mit Kopfhörern. Ansonsten gehe auch gerne mit Freunden in Clubs, zu Raves, in den Park oder auch in BarsoderCafés.

Our kitchen is well-equipped because Gabriel loves to cook, so all utensils are available. We currently have a rotating cleaning schedule to ensure everyone gets a turn!
Gabriel (25): I love cultures and languages. I grew up in Brazil and moved to France alone at the age of 15, and now I live in Vienna. I speak fluent Portuguese, French, Spanish, English, Japanese, German, and a bit of Russian and Chinese. I am also studying East Asian Economy and Society at the University of Vienna. I love cooking and watching movies! I'm a bit extroverted, but I also enjoy time to relax and meditate.
Przemek (22): He comes from Poland and speaks Polish and English. He is also learning German. Currently, he is working, but once he reaches C1 level in German, he wants to study either Mathematics or Medicine. (Also languages). He loves playing video games, enjoys manga and anime, and listens to K-Pop. He spends most of his free time at home and is a bit shy but enjoys good company and has great jokes.
Adem (22): I come from Salzburg and have Bosnian roots. I am currently in the 4th semester of my physics studies and work part-time in an office. Sometimes in the evenings, you can hear me playing the electric guitar or piano through the walls when I'm not busy with university work, playing video games with my friends, or reading. I love listening to hip-hop and R&B, so you'll often see me wearing headphones. Otherwise, I also enjoy going to clubs, raves, parks, bars, or cafés with friends.
