She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Chuck" Roudabush, her parents, Joseph and Anna (Lombard) Capizzi, and her beloved sister, Catherine (Capizzi) Goodell. Born and raised in Oswego, New York, Margaret was a 1947 graduate of Oswego High School's commercial program. Although part of a Sicilian American culture where girls were expected to leave home only when they married, she took and passed the Federal civil service exam and moved to Washington, DC with three friends.
