Are splintering arrows good? ›

The Splinter Arrow is a Tier III ammunition option for ranged weapons that provides the most damage out of the standard arrow types. It requires a Workbench as well as some Wooden Splinters and Dust Mite Fuzz to craft. Sharp and deadly arrow crafted from wooden splinters.

As it's a chargebow, it does not require ammunition, providing its own. Despite this, the bow can benefit from the effects of bane arrows, black stone arrows, splintering arrows, and Elder God arrows, with the damage capped at either its ammunition's tier or the bow's tier, whichever is lower.
