We want to deliver real value to you as our customers by enhancing your banking experience. To do this, we’ve had to update the pricing on our personal banking products. It’s time to unlock great value with your Standard Bank account.

Key Pricing Updates

Here’s how we’re delivering even more value to our personal customers in 2024 with simpler fee structures and more competitive rates:

Monthly account fees

There are minimal increases in monthly account fees for MyMo, Access, Professional, Private and Signature banking. MyMoPlus, Consolidator and Prestige remain the same.

Cash withdrawal fees at our ATMs

If you have a bundled or Prestige account, you only pay R2,40 per R100 or part thereof for cash withdrawals, and R9 per R1 000 up to R2000 if you have an unbundled account.

MyUpdates Notifications

Notifications are free for 1 email address or for in-app notifications. R11 monthly for additional email addresses. SMS notifications will be charged at 30c per SMS, and the total charge will be posted to the account at month end.

Dishonoured/unpaid fees

MyMo accounts pay R10 per item, Access accounts pay R25 per item and all other accounts get 3 free then R130 from the 4th occurrence.

Pre-paid transaction fees

You will pay R0.60 when buying airtime or data and R1,60 for electricity on our App, Cellphone Banking or Internet Banking. If you’re a MyMoPlus, Elite, Prestige, Private, Professional or Signature client, pre-paid airtime, data, and electricity top ups fees are free.

Cash deposit fees

Make cash deposits at ATMs for R1,40 per R100 or part thereof.
