What is replacing iFollow? ›

Sky will show over 1,000 EFL games during the course of next season on their brand-new channel 'Sky Sports+'. This service will replace the current iFollow service for UK based supporters.

From next season (2024/25), a new rights agreement between the EFL and Sky Sports comes into effect, making Sky Sports the home of the EFL. With over 1,000 EFL fixtures live on Sky Sports via Sky and NOW each season, iFollow/club streaming services will cease to offer domestic live video coverage of EFL matches.

Supporters in the UK and worldwide can watch live four-camera coverage of Town's home game with QPR on Friday night. Match passes, priced at £10, are available to purchase now, with international TownTV subscribers able to watch all the action as part of their existing package.

Sky Sports+ will replace domestic streaming from the 2024/25 season. As it currently stands, the League's annual domestic broadcasting revenue for the 72 member clubs is £119million, plus approximately £7m from streaming. From next season, there will be an increase in that income to £180million.

iFollow and club streaming services will be replaced in the UK next season as part of Sky Sports' new five-year English Football League (EFL) broadcast deal. All midweek fixtures in the Championship, League One and League Two will be shown live on Sky from the 2024-25 campaign to 2028-29.
