Are house prices going up in Margate? ›

At the time of writing, there are only 555 properties for sale in Margate (the long-term 15-year average is between 1,280 and 1,310), meaning house prices have gone up considerably. Margate property prices have increased by 12.4% (or £32,800) in the last 12 months.

Margate topped the list, with its neighbour Ramsgate a close second, beating cities such as Liverpool, Bolton, and Aberdeen. The report predicts a 19% and 16% rise in house prices for Margate and Ramsgate, respectively, over the next two years.
