We have a 2009 Freightliner Columbia that keeps giving fault code "ecu 128 51d 153". Any ideas on what this is?
not in my range of expertise as commercial vehicle but there should also be a FMI code number to go with the fault code , follow link to the freightliner web site where you can download owner manuals etc that may give you more info on your problem also a freightliner forum would be a good source of info , keep me posted if you wish Driver Operator and Maintenance Manuals

Make sure your DEF tank is 1/2 to FULL, you have a indicator on your fuel guage with 4 green squares, this is your DEF level. If your DEF got low, it will throw a EEC61, but you need to fill the DEF tank 1/2 full or more. After you drive awhile, after 3 key cycles that light should go off.
SPN 3364 Fail 2 is telling you that your Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) has a quality issue, or at least that is what the ACM thinks. There are test strips available to test for DEF contamination. Also your DEF pressure sensors, lines DEF nozzle should be checked.
Fault Code 61 indicates a failure with the circuit controlling the Rail Motor and the side-to-side movement of the X-Y Shift Finger. Most likely it thinks the DEF tank is empty because you have the 545 25 codes which is the sensor for the level valve in the tank itself. This will also cause you to have the issue wit hteh dpf system when that level sensor is faulting. Have that sensor tested and that level sensor changed out.

Plug an OBD-II scanner into your vehicle's OBD port and reset it to clear the check engine light. Disconnecting and reconnecting your battery will restart your vehicle's computer and clear the light. Drive an older vehicle around for a few days after repairs. The light will go off on its own once the computer resets.
A common data failure is FMI 9 for an abnormal update rate or FMI 10 for an abnormal rate of change. An FMI 9 failure code is an issue with the CAN communication where data is not being sent and received in a timely way by the engine computer.
61-1 and 62-1 are common codes in Hondas. They usually happen during cranking with a weak battery. They are typically permanent codes and don't cause a check engine light. Unless there is an ongoing problem, ignore them.
The P0700 code indicates a problem with the transmission. It should not be ignored, because there can be serious drivability problems now and in the future. The technician should check for all codes present to accurately diagnose the problem.
Description This Code Sets When SPN 521050/FMI 31 has been Present for One Hour of Idle Time, the Vehicle has been Restarted or Six Gallons of Fuel has been Used.
Also known as 'limp home mode', limp mode is a security feature in cars which activates when the engine or transmission control unit picks up a fault. Once it detects a problem, limp mode will cause the less important parts of the car, such as air conditioning, to switch off, and the speed of the car will be reduced.
Flash Code 62 may also indicate that the function assigned to the Auxiliary Output #1, #2, #5, #6, #7 or #8 circuit output is open, shorted to ground. This diagnostic condition is detected when the Auxiliary Output #"X" function is OFF and the DDEC III ECM measures a low voltage on the circuit output.
