Job SummaryThis position works with the fuel department across disciplines including financial reporting, marketing, image updates and special projects. Hours can vary from 15-30 hours per week depending on class scheduling.
Essential Functions
- Maintain division marketing planograms – by brand
- Maintain our branded Mystery Shop programs.
- Maintain our internal intranet website
- Work with vendors to ensure our fuel items are stocked and available for stores
- Create and provide training materials to the stores on the fuel brand programs
- Preparation and analysis of financial reports by compiling and analyzing financial data from disparate sources and summarizing account information and trends
- Analyzes and tracks period financial reports versus budget and prior year performance
- Researches variances to budget
- Performs a variety of financial analysis in response to management inquires or to facilitate decision making; researches and prepares ad hoc reports as directed
- Ensures compliance with requirements, policies and regulations by enforcing adherence to corporate systems, policies and governmental regulations
- Assist on any special projects or capital expenditure activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering or related.
- Must have working knowledge in Excel; Access, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Must have strong analytical and quantitative abilities and keen attention to detail.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets.
- Must have strong communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels of management. (written and oral).
- Comfortable working independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Must be willing to adapt to a dynamic business environment, balancing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Retail experience preferred.
