E-mail newsletters and SMS mobile text alerts are available on topics such as breaking news, the stock market, major events in sports or entertainment, the day's political developments, or your favorite NBC News or MSNBC TV show. Visit to see a complete list of offerings.

E-mail newsletters include:

  • Topic and TV show newsletters. These are delivered to your inbox one to five times a week depending on the selection.
  • Breaking news alerts. These are available by e-mail or SMS mobile text message and are sent whenever there's major breaking news. You can also get real-time alerts on the Web, Twitter, Facebook or your smartphone by visiting .

If you visit and receive this message, you must click “No” or the page will not function properly. This message is triggered because the page contains both secure and non-secure content, but it is not a security threat.
